HURACÁS Country House Lodge, has a two holm oak rating and is located in the charming village of Jerte, in the Jerte Valley region, Cáceres province. It was built in 1840 and completely refurbished in 2000. It was formerly on a livestock farm, has a floor area of 209 m², and is in a good state of repair.
The country house lodge has total capacity for 8 people. It has 4 double rooms with full ensuite bathroom.
All rooms have a cot and a hair dryer.

- Plaza Independencia Square (with Asunción Church, separate tower, colonnade, wooden-posted balconies, typical houses, parish church, historic centre...).
- Santo Cristo del Amparo Shrine (with Baroque statue by Martínez Montañés).
- "Los Bueyes" alley (winding alley of wood and adobe structures, with raised walkways, wooden sun-traps...).
- Natural swimming pool and Nogalón Park.
- Ramón Cepeda Street (typical local houses and noble residences with granite coats of arms).
Around Jerte you can visit stunning landscapes with amazing colours, crystalline water, enchanting sounds and monastic peace and quiet.
- "Garganta de los Infiernos" Nature Reserve.
- Roman road and bridge, leaving Jerte and crossing the Reboldo (oak, alder and chestnut woods), passing Los Maquis Cave.
- Route of the tower and the Calvitero peak (2,405 m, in Tornavacas), following Papúos Canyon, with waterfalls like the Ventera falls. A good area for mountaineering.
- "Migratory livestock" Route, passing the trout reproduction centre, where work is being done to repopulate the Jerte River Valley with autochthonous fish stocks.
You can enjoy a pleasant stroll in the surrounding area at any time of year - although the most beautiful seasons are spring and autumn. Gateway to the Garganta de los Infiernos Reserve. Close to the Ambroz River and Valley, accessible via the Honduras pass, a great natural viewpoint over the two valleys: Jerte and Ambroz. We have environment and agrotourism workshops that you can take part in, accompanied by the owner of the house (pruning, cherry picking...)
